Epsilon (Epsi)

The Epsilon program is offered once, twice, or three times week (Tues/Thurs, Saturday).  This program is very developmental – swimmers will be taught the basics of swimming and focus on being comfortable in the water.  The coaches for Epsi are in the water with the swimmers for the duration of the lesson, but they may not always be within arm’s reach of them.  Epsilon swimmers must be 4 years of age and developed enough not to require a one on one assist at all times.

Technical requirements for this group include being able to glide 3m unassisted. Be comfortable enough to not need constant attention. Be able to complete half the width of the pool assisted (kickboard). Be comfortable putting whole head underwater and floating on both the front and back. All swimmers must be able to get back to the wall with heads above the water without direct supervision, for safety.

*Please note final decisions are based on in-person assessments – your child’s safety is our first priority*
